• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Hello all!!!

I am currently building FFR 5715, just outside of Highland Illinois. The build has been a blast so far, but with the spring weather, I'm ready to drive this thing. I have been go-carting, and cannot wait to put the body on in the next couple of weeks. Hope to be done by the end of June!!

If anyone cruises over my way, be sure to get ahold of me, and stop my the garage for a cold one or two.

Forgot to mention, 4.6L SOHC engine with p.i. head swap, ford racing stage II cams, Power steering and brakes. This thing has been a learning experince!!!

See you on the road soon!

Found out about it through the Gateway FFROG. (Factory Five owners group).

Welcome Craig,

Good to hear from you. Hell, you're so close to being done, I can taste it :D.
Hang in there, I can't wait to see it finished.

Tom

Craig, how bout some pics of your progress so far? Maybe you could have a build/finish it up party and we can all raid your garage to get it on the road sooner than June. :)

Here is a link to my first go-cart video.

Ignore the date, and the exhaust leak is fixed. My son came close, but I stopped him from touching the side pipes

This one is my build video to date. The first couple pictures are at the construction site of a multi-plex movie theatre I designed in Naperville, IL.

I am about ready to drop the body on, and hope to get to that on Sunday. Saturday, my wife has me scheduled to install a large wooden swingset system for our son.

If this car is half as much fun as the build, I'll be happy!
