AC's new "Cobra"

Do not trust AC

A few years ago, the people who own Superformance "purchased" AC cars. All rights, bucks, etc. But then the deal mysteriously fell through. It seems the owner of AC is a not-too-trustworthy fellow. There was even a "brand new" 289 Cobra at the Superformance dealer in Ohio that I saw. Aluminum body, cross leaf spring suspension, etc. About as original as they come. Interestingly, it had wooden wheel/tires. They had cut some 1/2 inch plywood the size of the tires and these tires were being held on by the spinners. Quite a site. I don't know what became of that car or how it would be viewed by SAAC.

Word of caution to the naive & unwary.......................

Been reading alot tonight, and wanted to see how much of the information here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_Cars - is accurate. If it is accurate, then someone that lives in the U.S. is really just a thief and a car company became the victim of greed by this someone. Here is the supporting evidence:

No need to post the pics of the Bristol and the other car - I know, they agreed to let him use it, but is there anything this particular person has designed himself other than his signature? So he sold a car built by AC, with a Ford engine in it (from a.....yep, you guessed it, a Mustang), with racing coil shocks (not sure who those were made by) a steering box made by AC, a rear end by Ford (later to a racing rear), and whatever other parts Ford & Chrysler made. So, what makes our replica's so different? At least mine doesn't have any Chrysler parts on it. So, yes, mine is a real one, yours? Beginning to dislike this person, alot.

Do you know how many of the AC Co$ra's had 390's in them? Was downloading manuals for my weedeater, trimmer and blower and got sidetracked a little. Some more references:
