Yeah, maybe. Not everyone posts information that isn't true though either. I hear a lot about your car, but, I've never seen it nor have I ever seen numbers. :p ;) Just sayin' :D

When you want to line them up big boy maybe a little $$ involved
while your sitting there spinning I will be waving bye bye

Will be at Putnam 4/15 - 4/16. I'll be waiting hot rod :p

If I had replied as you did Tim, you would have admonished me for it. I don't understand.
That said, I am with MikeW on the numbers...would have to see them. With parisitic loss thru the driveline that puts it somewhere around 1100 at the flywheel. Find that hard to believe. He mentions getting the power in the lower gears....thought the correct reading should be taken when transmission is in direct gear.

we can do it much closer right out there on 370 1/8 or 1/4 or if you like we can go to benton il and big boy bring your a game and lets make it for say $100.00 bill

benton il is a outlaw track and it hooks good and you can run almost anything. only draw back it is a 1/8 mile track

Dude, I have no doubt your car will beat mine, at least that's what you say. I have no doubt you have the $100 to put up. I have no doubt you believe your car is the fastest in the country. I do not, and will not street race. I've grown up since then. My whole point to you is that you, POT, are calling the Kettle Black, when you both are. As I recall, we've had 3 dyno days, none of which you have attended. You have not provided any numbers either, I have, many here have. Your comment calling b.s. on the guy can be directed at you as well. All I know is I have heard a lot of talk, how 'bout showing up at a dyno day, I'll even pay. Are we done here? :p

Nobody would have been admonished. It's just a friendly rivalry. That said 1000hp is more common. With turbos and TT set-ups it's just a matter of gearing, tuning and money.

Here's some videos of street racers making 1500hp.

I wouldn't recommend the street racing option for anybody I know. I value my freedom and my car. A C&I ticket can costs 1000's of dollars, possible jail, and loss of your vehicle.

Dynos are for tuning - not for bragging. Take it to the track.

Mr smart ass DUDE i don't need a dyno # 2 lets just see and I still have 1st engine in it - I don't believe its the fastest and we don't have to street race there is a track 1 1/2 hours from st louis benton il and i have used a g tech meter (which are very reliable) right there in your back yard on 370 my comment on the bs is for good reason NO NUMBERS.

:D Got it. :p

Was just wondering why he could say he had X amount of HP and you want proof, and you can say you have X amount of HP and you don't have to provide proof. Just curious. I have the slowest car in the club, so a drive to a track just so you can stomp it isn't worth the drive. So, should I mail you the $100?

I don't think you have the slowest car in the club. Out of all the people that have posted actual times on a track (road or drag) you have one of the fastest.

This is cracking me up.
Next thing you know we'll be into - My Dad can beat up your Dad!
:D:D:D:D:D:D

lets just see we can go to benton il I know how hard mine leaves and how hard it pulls though midrange only reason I put the bottle to it was to help out 5000 - 7500 rpm. I will make you a promise
I will only use the 1st stage which adds about a extra 100
Check out the facts on g tech I have 1 to use any time the speed shop owns it.

Or its time to have a - as you say mark - A time out. No go sit in the corner

That's it! You're BOTH grounded and I'm confiscating your cars, you'll get them back when you learn to act like adults (or when I'm done playing with them). :D

Mike, very cool product. I saw someone mention these a couple months ago on one of the TV shows, but I didn't know how reliable they are or if they were just hawking another sponsor's product. Which one are you using?
Sounds good, I'd like to see one in operation.

G-Tech Pro Performance Meter

G-TECH is the easiest, most effective way to measure the performance of your car before and after modifications. It's a dedicated-hardware device specificaly designed for vehicle-dynamics testing.
There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that comes close to the same "bang for buck" when you want to know the truth about your car. Sure, you can go to the dyno or to the track. But not whenever you want to. Not to mention, everytime you go, you pay.
During normal driving you can display current speed, G-force or horsepower. The arrow shows the direction of G-forces. Yes, G-TECH is a super-accurate GPS speedo with fast update rate for your boat as well.
Major results like 0-60mph, 1/8 & 1/4mile ETs, horsepower, braking distance etc. are automatically displayed in big easy-to-read numbers.

If you can read plugs ( with the fuel made now ) and have a inkling when a engine has to much timing and can use 1 of these ( nhra pro-stock racer larry morgan turned me onto 1 - 2 years ago ) you can work wonders with your tune up. They do work larry uses one on his test strip next to his shop for his 60 ft times and swears by it. His clutch guy says they are so close to testing on a track its unbelievable but couldn't explain how it works. I knew pat took 1 in on a trade so I borrowed it and leaned how to use it. And yes they are well worth the money. You do need to put the correct info in to make it work correctly for readings like hp and torque.
