2nd Annual "horsepower" vs. "lightness" Go-kart event

Rick you might call and ask if the age limit applies to 13 yo go-cart racers with multiple championships. Kind of like telling AJ Foyt he is too old to rent a car.

I'm getting close to setting a date. Have you guys rustled up some more teammates? Right now I show at most 4 drivers from GCC. It would be nice to have a couple more.

We’ll have 2 practice runs, a qualifying run and then a championship run pitting the top 3 drivers from both clubs. The cost per driver is $91.

I’ll put the deposit down and pay that night. Everyone can then just pay me.

PS: Feel free to recruit some more drivers. I think there is room for between 10 and 12 carts at one time.

See you all at 7. I might come early and see if they can "Tune" my cart for a little more power. I need it to kep up with you lightweights.
 
Steve/Tim, I will try to make it to Helen's but don't wait for me. Depends upon how soon I can get away from the office and how bad traffic is on the way there. Mike P.
 
Thanks to everyone that turned out for last night's event. I had a great time. Particularly our 4th run for position. I just can't understand why they kept waving the "No Bumping" sign. :D

This year's results mimicked last year's with the Lotus club taking the 1st and 3rd spots, with Mike Marshall taking 2nd place.

We'll need to schedule a trek over to Gateway Kartplex. Those karts are faster and the course is longer and wider. According to their website they are open for the season.

Mike was 2nd....Vicki was 1st....Right? We're going to stop letting team Loti make up the rules as they go along :p ;)
