Hey all,
We're going to try for another toy drive for the kids. We'll be meeting on Monday (12/21) at 1 PM in the parking lot of St. Charles Marcus Cinema (where we watched Ford Vs Ferrari). We'll plan on departing at 1:30 and take the toys over to Fastlane together for the club. Contract your friends and family to see if we can bring a little more cheer into this depressing year. If you have toys, but can't make the drive, please try and get your toys to someone that is going. I'll be off that day so I can make some rounds and collect. Just post here whether you'll be joining or just need a pickup.

FastLane Toys For Tots benefitting the Dokaj Foundation

I took next week off and it looks like it will be good weather Monday and Tuesday. I had planned on Tuesday making my run to FastLane. We could meet for lunch nearby at 370 & Elm at The Elm Taphouse and Kitchen, 3833 Elm St, St Charles, MO 63301.

Hope you're able to donate as we've always supported FastLanes efforts.

Not Tuesday Now....? So sadly I’m out for Monday.... prior commitments.... I will just wish all well, and Merry Christmas coming Friday! “Who’s On First”....?
 
Just want to mention the “follow up” on this site was questionable? No answer to questions asked, this is the clubs pipeline or am I misinformed? Surprised Marks question was not followed up on? Did Toys for Tots come off at all to Fastlane, was it Tuesday? Did I miss the lunch too? Curious...
 
I agree, communications & coordination were problematic for this event. I'm going to blame it on Covid.
We will discuss this in an upcoming Officers meeting to improve communications going forward.

I had Toys to donate so I called Rich early yesterday morning and drove the Cobra out to his house. Helped him move some furniture back into his house, then we drove over to Fastlane and dropped off our donations. After talking with Laure (Dave's wife) and checking out Dave's inventory, we headed to Old St. Charles for some local brew and lunch. It was a bit chilly (had the heater & seat heaters running) but it was nice to get out on a Sunny day and contributing to the Toys for Tots always makes me feel good, especially this year!
