What the heck, none of you guys showed up! I ended up running unopposed. The newly (again) rebuilt distributor did not give me any problems this time (Delco parts instead of Accel, and a big heat sink bolted to the bottom). I thought I drove my best event ever. Went like a rocket and no cones. I actually got the tire temperature up to 160 degrees. But I only managed to move my index to 8497 (Mike is running almost 8700 and ran faster year).
