1963 Corvette Grand Sport

Very nice. I have absolutely promised myself the next car "replica" I own, I build from the ground up. Still Superformance always puts together a nice package. Thanks for the info.

Wow what a price tag. It's all personal taste, but for that kind of money, you can get a really nice mid 60's original. (Of course it's not a grand sport)

My mistake, I was thinking Mongoose not RCR. Their cars looked great at RnG.

Licensing Issues

Once again, beware of licensing issues. Superformance learned the hard way to get licensing from the trademark owners. Now Superformance cars all have a premium added to the cost. I have heard figures from $1K to $5K, but that is a secret known only to the lawyers. I would imagine that one reason the Grand Sport is so expensive is the licensing. Also, they will probably go to great lengths to keep it as original as possible including the non-standard oval tube frame like the original Grand Sports.

Personally I think they are ugly. For that amount, you could have a GT40.
