17" and 18" Tire Options 9/16/2022

17" tire choices are pretty slim as you all know. I wanted to compare the choices between 17" and 18". So I made a spreadsheet of what I could find. Chime in if you see something missing. It seems 18" off the shelf wheels are hard to find with the correct width and spacing. If you have 18" off the shelf wheels please share. We all may the 18" before too long.

P.S. I wasn't interested and anything above the 300 tread wear. So I think there are a couple options in the 500's.

Thanks for the info Tony. When I was searching for new tires and rims, I was sticking to the 17. May have shot myself in the foot there. I hear the Toyo Proxy 888R is good, but may get a little greasy when hot. It was going to be my go to tire, but availability wasn't there. I decided I'd get them for my track tires and I still have my old rims to put them on. As far as the NT05 I looked all over and even called Nitto. I couldn't find any in the U.S.. There was talk they may be discontinued. I had Yoko's on my first cobra and liked them, but they were older and I swapped them out for another tire that was discontinued. I'll look at this before I purchase my next tires.
