100 Octane source

Phillips 66 in Arnold use to, not sure they still do. You should dyno your car with both before you go buying a bunch.

Thanks for the info.

I'm not concerned so much with the performance. My concern is with the increased boost (now 10.5 lbs instead of a stock 7). Dan's recommendation is to throw 2 gallons in for every tankful at the track to avoid any detonation issues.

I hope to get it dyno'd at Omer's Friday morning.

There is always Snow Performance too. Using there Methanol spray which is programable by both Injector range usage as well as boost, you can add the methanol as required. You buy is at the Same Sieveking in High Ridge. When added to the 91 octane you should be about 116 octane combined. Just a thought. I love mine.

By federal law :mad:, the seven metropolitan counties must sell blended fuel for emissions control. It is going to come with ethanol since that is the "de-poluter" of choice.

There is a site that lists "real gas" by location. Take a look at Pure-Gas.org

VP Racing fuels has a distributor in Highland/Breese, IL area. Look or talk to D & M Performance They have Sunoco and VP Racing fuel, plus a couple other brands.

Be prepared to pay around $18-$20 per gal. :eek:

If you really want to have some fun, we have a couple barrels of CH3NO2 that mixes real nice with methanol. (Nitromethane) :D about a 25% mix will really light a fire under that little Lotus

Speedsport @ 70 and St. Charles rock rd is back open after the tornado, they use to be a Sunoco dealer. Bought all my fuel for the race bikes there. 92-116 octane if i remember correctly.

When we were building the funny-bike and other professional drag bikes at our shop in Maplewood we were one of Lou Osmans' regular customers... Lou once worked for Garrett Turbos and was a wealth of turbo experience. Good guy.

But we bought our H&H Blue 125 octane race gas in 55 gal drums from a terminal in Terra Haute Ind.
 
The truck stop across from Gateway International Raceway used to carry "Turbo Blue" it was a 100 Octane, I believe. It has been a while since I have been there, and am unsure if they still do.
