MACC reached out to see if we would be interested in a joint winery cruise on 10/24, 25, and home on the 26th. This is in the early planning stages, so, just mark you calendars for now as planning is being done. The thought is meeting at a semi central location and spend two nights in a hotel with a cruise on Saturday ONLY. Friday would be the "meet and greet", Drive Saturday and return home Sunday.

This would be a good substitute/fill in for our annual Fall Colors run.

Club friend/member Tom Manners will be our go between in planning. Post here with any questions.
 
Sadly I’m out - will be Maui, Hawaii bound for Barbie’s Birthday… home 11/2/25… have fun gang… next time…
 
My current plans are to trailer out Friday evening, cruise Saturday and Sunday morning, then head home. This way I can bring the oil that Tom ordered out to him. I've added a poll to see who plans to go

Tim, Is there anymore information on this trip, what areas for the wineries, hotel and such?
 
I'm trying not to completely plan this trip as it was the MACC that initiated, however, what I know is:
Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn Columbia, Mo
Dates: 10/24 - 10/26. Travel out/meet and greet Friday 10/24. Cruise 10/25, breakfast cruise and head home 10/26.

Routes and wineries are tbd at this point. I have some previous routes that can be used, but, depends on places we stop.

The people I'm working with are in Europe at the moment, and will be back 10/5. Stay tuned!
 
Bringing this TTT. Please vote if you're going or not. It won't JUST be wineries we are visiting, more driving and catching up with the MACC than anything.
 
Complete details are being worked on and I should have more to share by Sunday. At the moment, MACC has 3 cars coming.

Itinerary:
Friday 10/24 - Load up, drive out to hotel arriving after 3pm (Check-in Time). There are no plans for a drive in the cars on Friday. We will have a meet and greet at the hotel. Dinner, still being discussed, but looking at maybe just ordering pizza's and appetizers from their kitchen and eat on site.

Saturday 10/25 - Unload cars that trailered, and go for a drive. Route being planned at the moment. Lunch on the route, and dinner possibly at Murray's near the hotel.

Sunday 10/26 - Breakfast drive. MACC is planning the route. Short drive, back to hotel to load up and head home. Even with the drive, should be back at hotel by or before noon.

Btw: of you're concerned about the wineries and lack of driving, Saturday had us going to the auto museum in Fulton as well as two wineries. But, if ya wanna push dirt....🤔😁
 
The forecast has gone from perfect to, well, crappy. Gonna keep an eye on it.... Will make a call of go out no go nlt Thursday since that is last day we can cancel rooms.
