Any club members interested in attending the pre-party? I'll probably go and could meet you.

Btw, Jim Smoot, event organizer, was the owner of Fantasy Vans that was on Lindbergh and drove the Van (w/80 gallon gas tank) in the CannonBall Run (Gumball Rally movie).

Join us April 17, 2021 for the "Throwback Cruise". Those of you who survived last year's "Covid-Cruise" are encourage to celebrate your freedom! We invite all car clubs, racers, gearheads, bikers, soccer Mom's, guys, gals, old, young, white, black, fast, slow, sexy, ugly... you're all coming!
This is an informal event. Get out of the house to see and be seen. That's what cruisin is all about. We will be announcing locations that support this cruise night and will allow cars to be parked in their lot. We will also raise money for the Thin Line Foundation who supports fallen police officers and firefighters. Along with raising money for an amazing cause, our goal is to support the local businesses along our beloved stretch of Lindbergh Blvd. So many of these businesses are on the brink of extinction and they need our support!
And last but not least... Please don't be a asshole. Follow all County rules and regulations. Be safe. Have fun!

Begins at Hooters South County @ 6pm

Hey, I read that Cannonball run book in highschool. I might be able to go may 15th date.

I was incorrect, the van had 120 gallon tank(s)! Jim Smoot went to my High School (he was a couple years older than me), but he was a legend among the gear-heads! Did you read the link? Pretty interesting and sad for the troubles he had.

I think the first event is a monthly cruise-in. We can look into attending, I don't know anything about it yet.
