Ok Tom, Lets see some pics of the lap blanket. It is the only thing on this site that has my wife's interest!

Sorry Craig, it's one of the few items I don't have a picture of. Fortunately, it's not hard to picture from an explanation. Linda got it from Things Remembered, it's a black fleece throw as shown here http://www.thingsremembered.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_9951_492841_-1_1?fcref= . She had FFR 2636 in about 3" block letters stitched at a 45° angle in one corner in red to tie it to the car theme and we clip it to the return flange at the bottom of the dash with office type clips to keep all of the heat in when it's really chilly out. A small investment for big warmth :D

Since I have all my guages on a central console, mine is a little different. I used Tom's concept. Mine attaches under the dash with velcro. Mine flows around the central console and I added a key hole around the stick and e-brake to allow the passenger to pull the cover up farther without interferring with the controls. I had my mom cut it out of a camel colored fleece to match the interior. I'm getting a local to stitch in the club logo on the blanket as soon as I don't need it this spring. Might do it during the project monthes. It was a great idea and really helps.
