Saturday night is the first GCC outdoor movie night experience! You won't want to miss it!! Will be fun for the whole family. :D

Yes, it will be hot during the day but we're not looking to get together until 7:00-7:30. Movie to start around 9:00. Rich has graciously offered his huge flat back yard as the perfect setting for a drive-in like movie experience! Popcorn and light snacks will be provided. All you need to bring is your family, chairs and your favorite beverage. I will have several family friendly movies for the group to choose from? Hope to see everyone there. If anyone needs Rich's address speak up and we can send a PM with that information?

Ian, most will probably be in daily drivers. But...if you drove Gracie you could always sit in her for a true drive-in experience!!

Will be fun!

Bring chairs, drinks. I'm going to make some popcorn, Ill have ice and some water. If we have a breeze it will be nice.

Rich, no need to make popcorn. I've already got that covered! As well as a few surprises...:D

Ok...below is a preview of the movies I'll be bringing to select from: (Rich has trump vote since it's his house)

American Graffiti
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid
Die Another Day 007
Days of Thunder
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Italian Job
Smokey & The Bandit
Spinout (Elvis in Cobra)

Daily driver it is....unless I change my mind at last moment.... RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK...is Barbie’s pick...

I hope everyone had a good time at Outdoor Movie Night. Thanks Mike for the screen setup and movies, American Graffiti was a good pick and looked great on the screen. I was much impressed on picture quality.

Rich, thank you for hosting! Your back yard was perfect for this and we had just enough breeze to make it comfortable...especially with your floor fan!!

Sounds like we missed a good time.
Hopefully, we can catch the next one...

Before going to STL for our anniversary dinner, Keith and his family joined us and we all went to Bo's Hollow South of Montauk State Park Saturday morning to reconnoiter the small replica 30's community as a potential run for the club.
Although it was HOT...we all really enjoyed the day and were impressed with the attraction.
Due to the 1.7 miles of gravel roads South of Montauk...I would not suggest it as a destination for the clubs cars...but it would be a great destination for daily drivers. It is really an interesting replica community with many interesting features.
I will post photos later in a separate thread.

Also, when we stopped at a small local store...Keith learned of a car show later in the fall in Montauk State Park that WOULD be a destination for the clubs cars.
Hwy 119 has recently been repaved and remarked going to Montauk and is in great condition. The drive is scenic and the roads are perfect. Hopefully, he will post details.
