• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Welcome Ian

Welcome Ian Turner - User name "Gracie" resides in Lake Saint Louis.

Gateway Cobra Club

Thank you and excited to join the Club. "Gracie"

Welcome Ian to the club. Look forward to seeing you and hearing about your ride.

"Gracie" is my ride, my ride is named after my Mom - only fitting...in the day is paid many of my car payments! She would have loved this car!

Little about "Gracie" ; 1965 Shelby AC Cobra (Backdraft Racing) built by "James Yale" out of Houston Tx. 2010 chassis (3,218 miles) 351 W Keith Craft V8 bored out to a 427. Generates - 575 hp, Running Power Disc brakes on all four corners. Front: 310mm (12.2 inch) and Rear: 295mm (11.6 inch) ventilated discs. Single piston calipers supplied by ATE. Vacuum assisted booster with a dual stroke master cylinder. The rear suspension getting the power safely to the ground is handled by a centrally guided multilink rear suspension. This independent rear suspension allows camber and toe adjustments. It is fully height adjustable as well, coupled with the front coil over struts. This allows tuning as needed.

Ian, welcome to the club and thank you for sharing some information about "Gracie". I live in Lake Saint Louis too so look forward to meeting you! Mike

Hi Ian,
What color is your car?

Ian's MYSTERY MOBILE

Oh, Tim. Mark's reptile has a bad "harmonica thingie". I thought he was seeking an empty seat. I suggested he follow along in his daily driver. Will you be coming out to check Ian's car color. I think, since it is only about 15 miles away, I may just run over there to check out the colors, and see the cobras depart!

All kidding aside. (Is that even possible??) It will be so good to lead the run in NAJA. Last year was just plain bizarre. Lincoln TC being chased by all manner of hungry beasties. Deb is actually a bit stoked over it. Especially since my manner of speech has gone retro and she can enjoy flashbacks to the days of her youth!!

All we really wanna do is SEE COLORS!! Ian, care to share?? Or, we can just wait. It'll still be groovy, man!
