....trying to remove a fuel line. I told Tim about this Monday night when I saw him at volleyball. I've had no luck getting it off. See the attached document for pictures.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,
I have a metal tool that will release 4 sizes but it may not work on European lines. We will be around tonight if you want to stop by and get it. If you let me know and we are going to leave for any reason, I can leave it on the driveway between the garage doors. If you take Ridge to St Paul turn right when you get to Kiefer Creek and we are the first left, 15916 Richland Cove Ct.. You can take the cut through on Pierside to Kiefer Creek from Old State, it's safer but not nearly as much fun.

I have a set as well if they don't work.

Keith:

Thanks. I found a youtube video that may very well have pointed out where I am going wrong. I'm still going to pick up Tom's tools an dhopefully I can get it right.

That style should come off by pushing forward on the line, then squeezing the latch together. Looks similar to the type used at the fuel tank on Mustangs, no tool needed?

Success!!!!

Tom's tool turned out to be too large (boy that sentence has loads of double entendre) so I purchased an assortment from O'Reilly. These had angled handles. Went out, chose what appeared to be the right size, and "poof" off it came.

Thanks to Tom for the tool, Linda for the beer and everyone else for the advice.

Steve.
