Just awesome.
I wish I could drive like that.

Great driving. It's a shame that both his car and his fire suit look like someone threw up on them.

Great video Mark. Thanks for posting. I'm sure I would have driven off a barge, got run over by a streetcar or killed a motorcyclist if I would have made the frist corner.

The sideways in the air jump was cool. Why 3 yellow wheels and one gray?

I also liked the sideways jump. Pay attention to the rubber on the pavement. In most cases it is evident that they shot dozens of takes before they had one they liked for each element.

I always notice that first - it's my business. I saw 2 possibly 3 takes in most areas - some a few more, some none at all. It's not really a comment about his driving - it's actually a technical reason. They used 2 or 3 cameras but relocated them during the various takes to make it look like they were covering the action with many cameras.

Did you notice the colored smoke from the tires in some takes. I saw a couple of red burnouts. Kinda neat.

What's a steering brake?

Its the tall lever next to the shifter that operates either a left or right rear brake independent of the the other depending on which way you move it to throw it into a corner or make those incredibly tight turns.Watch the cockpit scenes again and you will see him pull it right before going into any of the long drifts.Had one on my sand rail!

Mark if you pause it at 2:13 you will see a amazing backwards clip of the barrier. But you will also see rubber tracks 10' on either side of that perfect line. My point was it takes many tries before they got that one amazing shot...on that element I count at least 6 takes. The fact that there is not rubber track laid right over rubber track tells me they just keep trying till they get it right. There are few shots were there insn't a fair amount of rubber already laid down. He is still an amazing driver and I really enjoy his videos.

They have had tires for drifting for some time that make colored smoke. Pretty cool!

Dont forget, as good as he is, he needs to run each track many practice laps.
