Well, the Chesterfield Hockey Pee Wee youth hockey season is still in full swing, such that I am starting to think my second home is a meat locker
In any case, the team travelled this past weekend to Indianapolis to participate in the Brickyard youth hockey tournament. Don't ask me how we did
or how our season is going so far
, but we have a good group of kids who are giving it their all.
So when in Indy.....and only having seen the airport (from the inside) on numerous occasions, we planned an excursion to the Brickyard between our games last Sunday. For those of you who have never been there (like me) the first impression was the incredible scale of the place....its frikkin' HUGE!!!
Unfortunately the track tours were not running due to snow on the track, so we opted to tour the museum and snap a few pics. Bummer, I wanted to take a lap and "kiss the bricks".
