Great day for racing! The day started on the track at 10am. I made 12, yes 12, passes by 1:15 pm. I ran my best time on the first pass:

The track went away very quickly after that, and the remainder of my times were all over 12.0. I ran my street tires for the first 7 passes at 22 lbs. I ran two at 20lbs with no improvement. I put my slicks on for the last two with worse results than my street tires, mainly because I dumped the clutch and spun the tires too much. After my second run, I was met by Mark (yes Mark and Madison were there, more on that later) who tells me that "Dude, your left tire wasn't spinning on that last burnout, I don't think you should make another run". I went back to the trailer, and it was determined that possibly my posi clutch pack was slipping. I loaded the car up thinking, crap, Linda's gonna be pissed. I then went and got my free shirt, which I will be sporting soon for you that says "I broke my S@#T at Muncie Dragway
Now, for the juicy stuff:
- In two head to head matchups between Steve Fehr and his small, well, you know

a certain BBF lit the green lamp at the far end

- My best light was a .014! The seminar worked!
- A certain Purple F5R was the last one standing in bracket racing beating Steve Fehr, Steve Holley and Don Barnes

- Fastlane Dave took home one of the aforementioned shirts due to a blown clutch
- One IRS equipped SPF broke the left axle on his first run

- I learned a ton today from when to launch to how to launch to shifting my car better to how hot it can get in my driving suit
I came home and unloaded the car, and did 4 launches, the results look like below:
First launch
2nd and 3rd launches
Last launch
Anyone see a problem? The thought was the left side wasn't hooking up. I don't see a problem.
Now, Mark and Madison - I called Mark around 9:30pm last night and told him I was looking at a box from T&E with a pipe in it on it's way back to St. Louis with Fastlane

We chit chatted a while, and wished he were there. He called back at 10:30pm and said "I'll see you about 5 in the morning!"

So, at 6:15am, there he was! He drove all night to be with us! Mark had his cameras and mic's on the track today, I'm really looking forward to that video.
Jim Dooley came with me and kept me company and awake today on the way home. Thanks so much Jim for coming. Jim took some cool photo's, and Kate promised to get them to me.
It was a great time today, and the track there is top notch. I will capture all my times on a spreadsheet and share with you later. Right now, going to bed
