I am planning on putting on the following this winter:
remote filter(prefer to go with 2 can style)
oil cooler with thermostat

Can some of you sbf(351w) guru's recommend the best/easiest way to do this this.
Manufacturers,location, etc

here are part #s fram hpk3 is dual filter adapter fram hpk5 adapter for block both 1/2 pipe thread i would use #8 steel braded line with an fittings use anti-seize on fittings and this should do it
 
I have seen people use -10 for oil lines but never -8 and I personally would never use less than -12. Also, there are a lot of different adapters that flow more than others. I have always thought it best to leave the oil in the engine and not run it through an external filter if I didn't have to. Sometimes you need to but if I did, I always made sure to oversize everything. Just my $.02.
 
by the time you get fittings and see the size in them for the oil filter adapters will be around 1/2 inch id on # 8 line is 7/16 right out of my xrp book - agree on dry sump system # 12 for suction and #10 for pressure due to systems made for larger fittings. have used #8 and good fittings and never had a starvation problem - but always used good fittings - becareful what you buy have seen some poor fittings in 1 local place - no name made in china and not very smooth inside the 90 and 45 degree fittings and try to use aviation 90 degree instead of forged they flow better - check size of galleys to and aft filter in block- i think you will find about same or smaller than # 8

Dean: thanks for the input. I am having an oil pressure issue with the short stubby filter I have to use due to clearance issues. Can you call me so I can explain what is happening.

For reference I used the following from Summit and have had good luck with them for 29,000 miles. #TRD-1030 dual remote filter bracket (mounts 2 FL-1 Motorcraft filters), Canton #CTR-22-595 90° remote adapter 3/4-16 filter thread, 1/2" NPT inlet/outlet, 4 - Earls #EAR-800110 #10 swivel seal hose ends, 4 - Earls #EAR-981610 1/2" NPT to -10 AN adapters, 6' Earls #EAR-306010 AN-10 Auto-Flex braided hose (5' would have done it). I don't run a cooler so you can add the extra fittings and lines for that.

Picture was taken many years ago before the front mounted battery, supercharger, shroud etc. but it's the best one I have of the Trans-Dapt filter mount.
