Yes, I hear this is a fun deal, never done it, Captain Ron loves it? Hopefully we can get a few to muster up and do this Rod Run...a YES for me..
 
Depending on the weather and the formiilization of the Chicken run on Saturday, I’m going to put this in my calendar as a try to attend.
 
I'm thinking im going to try to make it down for this tomorrow night and stay in the area for the chicken run on Saturday. My fear is that I do not have a waterproof car cover in case of rain. Does anyone have an open garage bay just incase the rain hits? Also I'm looking for a hotel room friday night for Heather, Rowan and myself any suggestions?

Josh: there is a FAIRFIELD INN in Wentzville (probably best location) could give that a shot....I would check with Manager/ Front Desk and gain permission to park under their overhang...$20 bill normally get that done...better to talk to night desk manager...
 
Captain Ron: what are your plans, time and place to meet up and maybe drive into together? Never been, what do you think...looks like GCC will have a few going which is great....particulars are wanted and requested for this deal...WHO IS GOING (Tim-Ian-Ron-Josh-Rich) looks like so far...could meet on Hwy A somewhere? Could meet at St Patrick’s Church parking lot? Standing by for further data
 
The best place to park is the Conoco station at Wall St. & E. Pearce, or any place on the North side of Pearce. Get there early and find a spot.:cool:
 
Being Thursday night...hopefully there will be some chatter on this site tonight...about the Rod Run...who, what and where...as it is tomorrow...starts 6:30 I believe....?
 
Rich is riding in with me, so, I'll be swinging by his house to pick him up at 5pm and leaving from there....maybe take Hwy P over to 61 then 61 down to Wentzville. Me and Rich are going to go to Friendship Brewing for dinner, then get over to the Conoco before 6.

Josh, the rod run is West of St Louis....the meet point for the Chicken Run is mid/southwest St Louis. I am assuming since Chicken Run will end at night, you will be staying Saturday night too? If so, you're better bet would be to stay in Chesterfield....kinda mid point to both.

Bring Chairs....A Cooler for drinks....and a good attitude!!! :D
 
Tony thank you for the offer let’s see what happens with the weather and keep in touch.

I’m thinking I can be in Wentzville around 6pm if I leave the house by 4pm. Please save me a spot if I’m late.

I do plan to go on the Chicken run but I’m planning to head back north Saturday around 6pm so that I get back to the house around 8:30pm.
 
Yep, put this one in the books...cool cars, and some works of art....Rich’s favorite was the “Corvette Motor Cycle 3 Wheeler...” was fun deal, tins cars...did the “show me off drive” couple times...good to see Rich, Tim, Ron (his brother) Josh, Rowan, and Mrs, plus doggies!....
