I know that it gets old listening to Mark, Tim and me go on about how much fun it is to track our cars. Now here is a chance to hear others do the same thing.

Even though the focus is on the Chicago Audi Club, the same can be said of the various organizations we run with.

You really should give it a try at least once.

Nice add. Thanks Steve. Can't hardly wait till Run N Gun.

One thing not mentioned in the video since those are mostly factory cars in stock form are the kind of things Tim and I discuss quite often - that is upgrades. I have learned so much about my car and it's systems. I enjoy the learning process along those lines.

Either way, if you have not tracked your car, you are missing out on a really fun part of Cobra ownership.

That is the great thing about these events. Your car doesn't have to be "track prepped" (except for harnesses in the Cobra). You can take your street car and get out on the track to learn better driving techniques that can translate to everyday driving.

I've heard a lot of reasons why not to get on a track that can all be de-bunked by the autocross. It's not for me, but for anyone that wants to see what their car can do, attend one of these. Mike does it, and if you are interested, I'm sure he will let you ride along to see if it's for you or not. The reason we keep pushing it is the people you meet, the things you learn and the fun you have. Has nothing to do with horsepower or big vs small block, just having a good time with other car people, but different than what you can have on a cruise.
