I would MUCH rather have a straight, honest monologue from someone who can articulate his thoughts and positions without a teleprompter...than someone who has been prepped to maintain an intended image, while looking good in front of a camera.

I'll take sincerity over spit and polish any day...

This guy has leadership ability and a willingness to talk frankly while others skirt issues important to conservatives. He is not your typical politician who attempts to remain "middle of the road" while insuring political correctness. And for that I give him high marks...and my respect.

I think many are ready for a lot less spit shine and much more substance in our elected officials...especially our president. Look where spit and polish has gotten us...
