I would love to have my car there but don't want to take the additional vacation time and drag a trailer there and back. Keep in mind I'll be back in STL by 2pm Sunday! :p:)

Jay had said I could always ride with him so may do that on one of the cruise days.

Mike, you're in luck...Jay got his body back from the painter yesterday at lunch....He is on the road today. Quickest assembly I've ever heard of. We'll be back by 9ish, so, not a biggie. :p

Loaded up the car, just need to pack the essentials now...be...uh, soda, clothes, kinda important...quadcopter, GoPro, maybe a few surprises :D

That's great to hear about Jay! I noticed he hadn't cancelled yet so figured he was trying to still make it. May have to catch a ride with him on one of the cruises!!

Travel safe all and be sure to tell Chip & Joanna hello for me?

See you in San Marcos!!!

Looks like quite the convoy. Maybe I'll be ready for next year. Take pictures!

Made it to Dallas around 8 with only one flat tire that had to be repaired in Joplin. All good. Headed to Waco in the morning, then on to San Marcos tomorrow afternoon. Pics to come.

Everyone is finally home safe! Fun, Long, and exhausting trip. We split the trip with a stay in Dallas Wednesday night and a trip to Waco Thursday morning prior to going to San Marcos. I thought I was smarter than the other guys that took the toll road AROUND Austin, Tx and it took me 20 - 30 minutes longer to get there, but all good when we got there. We all unloaded the cars and enjoyed the warmer weather on the parking lot. Attendance was down some due to the weather forecasted rain, but, it wasn't bad. Friday was beautiful, Saturday was scattered rain, and Sunday was build an Arc day! Neat event, and will plan to go back in a few years, but, will be Plunk'g it next time (flying down and renting a car) Off to the pics:

Dinner in Guene, TX. Dance hall was built in 1878. Really neat area! Ice cream at the General Store after dinner (supper for Tim).

I'll post some pics up tonite after I finishing DRYING out. We left late Sunday (noon-ish) after the storms rolled thru, they were BAD. Drove to my son's place in Dallas without a drop of rain.
Left Dallas Monday morning @ 6:30am to beat the traffic. It was clear and dry all the way to Missouri, then the skies opened up. It was a long wet drive home from there.
LOTS of fun, but I'm exhausted.
Thanks for coordinating all of this Tim and accommodating all of my family and extended family dining issues!
My son had a great time and also said to tell all of you Thanks!
And thanks to Mike for driving Ann on Friday (I think we're going to be looking at MB Convertibles soon ("that's what she said").
