Tim,

I believe it was you asking about swinging bridges. I snapped these on Friday. For those that have never been on these the popular thing to do is get up to about 30mph and stop. They begin to swing and bounce. :eek:
 
Yep, that's the place. Didn't try the sudden stop, was actually a little skeered to drive across. Now, no comments on these photo's :D

Yep, been there a couple of times...it is pretty unnerving! The first time I went with a couple of friends and when we got there we spent about an hour trying to decide if you were actually supposed to drive a car across it when all of a sudden a pickup truck came along, going pretty fast, and drove across. We followed suit, albeit at a snails pace, heh,heh.
 
Thats funny. It took me two visits before I decided to drive across. I get a kick out of the fact that the builder retired after these bridges because the US adpoted standards in building bridges:eek::eek:
