Speed Shop?

Can anyone help me locate a speed shop on the Illinois side of the River that sells "roundy-round" racing parts?

I recall going to a swap meet somewhere on the east side, It was held at a fairground. Part of the swapmeet was indoors in a two story brick building. If you went out the front door and walked around the side to the rear, there was a separate building that housed a speed shop that specialized in dirt track racing and parts.

I know it isn't BelleClair. I've searched all the phonebooks, 411 sites and google but can't find it. I need a shorter swedge tube for my front suspension and this is the only place I know locally to get them?

If anyone knows of another source, locally, I am open to that also

I finally found the answer to my question on the speed shop. Plus some additional info:

For Circle Track Parts (Suspension stuff) WRP Speed Shop. Located on the fairgrounds in Highland, IL

For late model Mustang Performance stuff: Mid-Coast Performance in Saint Charles, MO

I'll go try to find another question for you guys - you aren't doing to well. By my count, your average is less than .100 Might have to send you down to the minors.

What circle track stuff were you looking for that you couldn't get from Weis, Bier, Jegs, Summit, Old Dog's or any other specialty speed shop?

Parts

Needed some 4" swedge tubes for the upper control arms. I had 5" and they were too long. It is something that is pretty much a "dirt track" type part.

Most speed shops cater to the engine and performance crowd. I was really surprised when Jegs or Summit didn't have them.

I've never been to Bier, do they have a showroom?

Bier Bros. was in the process of remodeling their showroom last time I was there. If they don't have it, they can order it. They used to have a dirt track car in the lot that they ran/sponsored, so I'm sure they could help you.
