Thanks, K & K.

The difference between yesterday and 2017 (Totality vs 98%) was just amazing. If you've never experienced totality, you owe it to yourself

Thanks to all that came.

We had been looking forward to this gathering for a long time to partially pay back the the hospitality shown by other members for the past several years. Now that we have a location suitable for hosting I would hope to make such gatherings here a regular occurrence.

I want to apologize for not being a better host...but am so grateful for all those who stepped in to fill host duties. It was truly a team effort and it was frustrating for me not being able to do more, but so appreciative that such good friends stepped up to fill the void. The guys that took care of cooking and the ladies that did much of the food prep in the kitchen were impressive. It was a well oiled machine and it was amazing to see it all come together. Kathy and I are blessed to have such good friends. THANK YOU...!

As far as my health...I felt slightly better last night and somewhat better this morning after sleeping 14 hours. However my heart rate overnight has remained in the mid to high 40's and I still lack any energy. I am headed to a Dr. Appointment shortly.

Unfortunately the medication that my cardiologist had recommended... I leaned this morning... is a duplicate of one I am already taking. As a result, any benefit of that med I was already receiving. But thankfully I caught that double dosage before hand.

The Cardiologist that was to have called yesterday has yet to call today....

My pictures taken with iPhone, no special filters. Not bad, but not good. The picture of the group in the dark was deceiving, as it was dark where we were and above us, but the horizon around us was out of the path of the eclipse and still daylight. It was eery and interesting at the same time.

The Group, prepaing for the show.

Pic with my glasses over the iPhone lense early as the eclipse just started.

Partial eclipse, no glasses.

Full eclipse (?) with glasses. (I don't remember)

Full eclipse, we were sitting in darkness but the horizon lighting was strange. All the deck lighting and dusk-to-dawn lights came on. The Rooster crowed (before the eclipse started (wth??)
