Kerry & Kathy, please add +1 to my RSVP. Nancy now does not have to sub on Monday 4/08 so will be attending with me! We can bring a cheese/sausage/cracker tray and a vegetable tray. (y)

Weather forecast has improved substantially.
Mostly sunny with only a 17% chance of precipitation. Down from 35%

I went out and celebrated by buying 25 nice big Brats instead of smoked sausage....plus 6 lbs of 1/4 lb burgers...:love::love:

Weather forecast seems to have improved significantly.

Curious, who is planning to drive their car and who is using a daily driver? I added a couple indicators in the poll above to show your choice

Thanks

With such a great forecast...we are hoping for a large turnout of Cobra's to represent the club.
Should make for some great photo ops with all the trees and flowers in bloom...

We're READY! (HARD to take a selfie, when you can't SEE!!)
BTW, I ordered these from Amazon yesterday, they were $20 for 5 pair, today they are $25 (same glasses).
See everyone Monday!

Meet Time: 8am
Meet Location: QT 290 E 4th St, Eureka, MO 63025
Departure Time: NLT 8:30am, earlier the better
Arrival in Fredericktown: Around 11:30 - Noon (Health break in Potosi)
Eclipse Time: The centerline of the eclipse enters Missouri at approximately 12:38pm CDT, with totality beginning in that location at about 1:54pm CDT. Missouri is the first state along the path of the 2024 eclipse that was also along the path of the 2017 eclipse. See this LINK for more info.
Address: 1028 Madison 278, Fredericktown, MO 63645
Tim,
You might want to focus on arrival at 11:30 rather than noon as the eclipse will start here in Fredericktown at 12:41 pm... Any unexpected traffic delay may compromise the viewing. Plus it will take a little time for everyone to park and get settled in, take group pictures while we still have good light and prepare lunch.

Which brings up another question...
Will people want to eat before noon, during the eclipse...or after it's 2 hr 35 min duration ends at 3:16 pm ?

Mark you driving your Daily? Or the Roadster?

If Nancy comes I will be in my daily.

Kerry, thanks for the heads up on the start time. If we leave the QT nlt than 9, a 2 hour drive puts us there at 11. We plan to be at the QT before 8:30, so if everyone is ready to go, we'll get on the road earlier.

My car is just put back together and it's not quite ready for the long trip yet, and we're bringing Murphy, and peach cobbler ( not sure on the ice cream). Rich's car, well you know what's up with it. Same with Mark's car, just finishing up winter mods and Kevin's car not roadworthy yet. I'm sure Scot will bring his car as will Paul and possibly Kent.
