All i can say for those of you that voted for him you got your damn change and in the future take off the blinders and look outside of your cacoon. The best part is the arresting officer is squeaky clean and his partner is black and backs him up. shame he didn,t mace or stun gun gates. Fact is, they won with a large majority, they'll do what they please, and we can't stop them.

But, if you want to be mad - you should be angry (really angry) at the republicans. These boobs have screwed the pooch for the last 20 years or more. They dropped the ball on Newt in '94 and have never recovered. They have blown every chance they had to set things right. They let W down in '02, played politics for the rest of his terms and lost their majority. Then the final insult - McCain/Palin. What a freakin joke. They could have built an indestructible party if they just would have done the right things over the years and stuck to their principles. They have just paid lip service to actual conservative values and now the country knows they are a bunch of two-faced, greedy, power-grabbing technocrats that couldn't find their own asses with both hands and a road map.

Another way to look at it - when your party's best spokespeople are Radio and TV entertainers - you're screwed. I like Rush and Glenn Beck a lot. But the fact that they are the loudest and seemingly smartest guys in the party speaks volumes as to the current Republican leadership. To this day they don't have a cohesive plan or message. They're loyal party is in tatters, and the dems may be able to dismantle the GOP by 2012. All the dems need are a couple of base hits (like Whitey ball) and they'll win again.

Being mad at the dems and POTUS is way too easy - and it solves nothing. If the Republican Party doesn't get its act together and fast it's game over. I doubt that Ronaldus Magnus could put this humpty dumpty party back together again.

Yes the repubs are supposed to stand for anti tax & spend. Yet all they did while GW was in office was SPEND the h___ out of things & screw all of us. GREED was the their mantra. Now we have someone in office that spoke before he knew all the facts & now he's the one looking stupid instead of those he claimed were stupid. :eek: BTW Just that one slip of the tongue & brain doesn't make him totally stupid, just stupid for this one incident. You are totally right the repubs need to get there house in order & get back to the principles & values that they espouse are their creed & not just give lip service to their principles. BTW GW had lots of brain freezes & slips of the tongues while he was in office so that disease in not exclusive to POTUS or dems. ie his infamous slip on the carrier/ship in the Mediterranean just after the war in Iraq started is just one example.

Mccain did bring to light 3-4 years ago about fannie and freddy and was told to shut up and as far as george if we where attacked today like 911 i think we would be in serious trouble and for spending the dems out rank repubs any day 1 must remember the pres does'nt call all the shots i would take george over this bozo any day and you for siding some what with obama you should stick your head in the sand. Demo from chicago come on now what comes from there your leaders in the fine state of il have only taken care of 2 areas springfeild and chicago sad sad state look at its history of corruption. Hey they're all a bunch of corrupt bozos aren't they? The sad truth is there aren't very many that aren't. :eek::( There are some that get caught & many that don't. Sorry for my cynicism. Politics by it's very nature corrupts. It takes a strong person to stand in the face of it & resist & fight against the temptation & offers to compromise your principles.

This whole story is media misdirection. Don't fall for it. Don't get yourself wrapped up it. Don't bite down this hook. From the right - they want you to look at this story and tap into (and foment) your dislike of POTUS and the dems while at the same time the republicans still have no clue and the economy is still in ruins. From the left - they take the slant of "there goes those silly republicans making a big stink over nothing" - which by the way has become a very effective theme. The dems have been and will easily be able to continually marginalize the conservative movement in this fashion - and it is quite fashionable to make fun of conservatives and religion these days - isn't it?

Sure he made a rookie mistake, W made plenty. He won't make this mistake again.

And the best part is how he talks about racism in our country he of all people should not be riding the race card. I am so tired of hearing how the black man has been abused look around you how many make a effort to speak english, wear hats right, don t get me wrong there are many fine african - americans and guess what you will find they don,t like the rap they get cause by some. Had a black girl years ago tell me, do you know what mass confussion is i said don't think so she blurted out its fathers day in east st louis and laugh and said sorry to say but its the truth.
