Thanks for the heads up Tim, I forgot it was my turn. Ok here it goes.
My car is a Unique Motorcars Cobra purchased in March of 2008. I personally took delivery in May. My goal from the start was to replicate, as close as possible, the original 427 that I fell in love with when I was a kid. I didn't know enough to customize the car so I kept it period correct. As most of you know I am not a mechanic, but I know how things work, I can follow directions and ask questions when I need help.
The motor was built by Southern Automotive just south of Atlanta. The Ford FE is stroked to 454 ci. Carb is 800 cfm double pumper. Dyno at the flywheel came in at 525. At the wheels 430. I had a lot of issues with the first engine but SA stood by there warranty and totally replaced the engine.
The body was painted by the artistry of Murrill Feldman. If you're not in a big hurry to get your car done I highly recommend him.
