Saturday 10/15 Cruise

Gonna be a beautiful day Saturday. Last year, we took a drive up to Pierre Marquette and the drive was pretty spectacular through the park. I'm thinking head up that way and go to Aries Resort taking the Sky tram up (this would require you leaving your car at the lower lot, if you don't want to do that, Linda and I will meet you at the top). If you want breakfast, we can meet at McSmith's Kitchen at 8:30am, let me know if you're interested in doing that in the poll.

We will meet at FastLane Classic Cars Saturday morning at 9am (unless enough reply and want breakfast, then, it will be later, like, 10am) with a departure at 9:30am. I have a message in to Aries to see what time they open. With the route I have planned, across Golden Eagle, up to Hardin, across to Illinois, back down to Pierre Marquette and then in to Grafton, should be a perfect Fall day! Maybe after, go over to Longshot Tiki Bar for some live music and dancing on the tables I would post the route link, but, y'all never look at it anyway. But, for those that will, HYG. We were thinking of driving up to Fast Eddies on Sat.
Had two eye surgeries over the past several weeks and have had to limit activities... but am wanting to get out.
Have been Jones'in for a couple Big Elwoods.

Well, then, this went over like a flying rock Sooo, since Linda doesn't like early, and we have to drop Murphy off at Daycare, we're gonna be closer to 9am at McSmiths. If you're there you're there and not at home, so, guess we'll head North after Breakfast.

Our trip today to Fast Eddies was great. Not too crowded, plenty of parking and the Big Elwoods and Chicken on a stick were great.
Ice cream afterwards in Grafton and Perfect weather to boot...!

Linda and I had a great drive today. A little disappointed in the fall colors at Pere Marquette, but such a pretty day. Took Golden Eagle Ferry over, then up to Hardin, Il and back to Grafton. Due to lines, ended up not going to Aries. Loading dock was better.
