What items do you carry with you in your "road kit"?

It's been asked, what do we carry in our cars when we make a road trip. Good idea but trying to figure out a way to generate a compiled list.

  1. I've included a poll to see what you may carry with you. If it isn't in the poll, please add a comment to the thread saying what it is.
  2. When the poll gets a few entries, we'll start a table with the typical things you would find in a kit and will update (edit) as you post different ideas of stuff to be included.
Can you help us out?
 
Rain suit, fire extinguisher, glass cleaner, detailer spray, paper towels, safety wire, zip ties, tire pressure gauge, lead hammer. Tonneau/car cover.

Tonneau cover, Spare fuses, 2 spare belts(1 SC and 1 alternator, 1 towel, rain-x, tire gauge, zip ties, spare EFI unit for distributor and a couple of long spare spark plug wires.
 
Large towel or two to dry interior (and me) if get rained on.

Small portable umbrella.

Bottled water and/or chewing gum if long cruise.

Sunscreen? :cool:

Deer repellent? :D
 
My other is a jackstand. Everything else has already been mentioned above.

(a hose seems to have come in handy, I may add this to my list)
blanket and pillow for Ann :D
 
just looked it up, here's my tool kit for Harrison:
o Socket set
o Screw-drivers
o Flash-light
o Pliers
o Wrenches
o Allen Wrenches
o Duct tape
o Wire
o Oil (10w-40)
o Hose
o Funnel
o Coolant

(I think I added the hose, funnel, coolant after we got back)
 
Wife, you need someone to give you directions and tell you when your going to fast!
