• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Greetings. Tom Delaney of St Charles, Missouri is the newest GCC dues paying member.

I am crossing over from aviation to a Factory Five Mk5 roadster project. I am just a day or two from hitting the order button with a projected delivery time of late July 2025.
I am hoping to connect with the group and gather advice as this is a new area for me. I have built a helicopter, airplane and four gyroplanes but mention a transmission spline and I get very quiet!

Planning on attending the Sunrise Church get together this Saturday and introducing myself. Hope to meet many of you then or at future events.

Regards,

Tom

Welcome aboard Tom; nice accomplishments of past mention… love the helicopter! You will enjoy the club and the members. All are very skilled… welcome to YOUR CLUB,.. I look forward to meeting you.

Welcome Tom. Looks like you won't have any issues actually building the car. We'll just help fill in the gaps. We have a wealth of knowledge on these cars. Also anything you need hands to help, you'll get plenty of volunteers for a garage party. We can help as much or as little as you want or need. Looking forward to meeting you. What are your intended uses for the car? Cruising around, autocross, track?

I appreciate the greetings and looking forward to meeting everyone. Visited “Cars and Coffee” this morning but saw no cobras probably due to the weather. Definitely planning on being at Fast Lane next Saturday.
Present plans are for street driving, no track, but will need to find out more about autocross.
I did pull the plug on a 30th anniversary MK5 from Factory Five with shipping date of Aug 1, 2025. I will start a new thread with more details.

We enjoy spending your money! where abouts in Saint Charles are you located? 8 or so members around town.

Hi Keith, I am in Weldon Spring off Independance Rd. I have a hangar at Creve Coeur Airport and will be building the cobra there. Lots of space available for helpers to get me through the head scratching moments!

Oh boy, thats great. Planes & cars can it get much better? :p Almost bought a Kitfox 25 years ago, chicken out and now it's 20 plus years of Factor Fives

There are 3 of us 5 minutes from the airport. Wife used to work for Al Sr that owned the airport. See that the gyro is up for sale on marketplace.

Good news today! My Mk5 kit was scheduled to be completed the end of July. While on the telephone with Travis at FFR I asked if I could get it earlier and he said sure and how about completion date of June 21. Can’t wait!

I think you'll enjoy the build school experience.
I know I did.
The tips the instructors give are very helpful.
The ones FFR doesn't tell you about are the biggest time savers & help with fewer do overs.
