The construction took a lot longer than I expected, but my new building is done.

Next step is to get a lift installed so I don't have to crawl around on the floor to do oil changes. I'm looking at The Lift Superstore 8,000 lb four-post lift, but I'm open to recommendations.

Beautiful shop 👍 Dream shop. What’s the dimensions?
Thank you! The building is 30' x 40' with 14' ceiling and a covered 8' x 40' porch on one side. It's fully insulated, and I just installed a 36K BTU mini split to keep it comfortable year-round. Some other features include an 8' fan, 6 x 35,000 lumen LED lights, 42" TV, 60 gal. air compressor with RapidAir plumbing providing six ports for air anywhere you need it, and commercial doors with Raynor commercial openers.

The covered porch is a great addition. I added a 10x24 on the end of mine, I use it all the time to sit, relax and have a cold one

That is really a nice shop. I wish my garage was that large. Just my opinion on the lift but I like the four post drive on type best. Some cars are kind of hard to balance on the two post center lift kind.

Thank you, and I agree with your comments on two vs. four-post lifts. I had a two-post in my shop in Colorado and it was a pain to get the Cobra positioned just right to safely lift it.

I would be interested in a link to your mini split and how good of a job it does.
I bought the latest (4th gen) MrCool 36k BTU kit from Home Depot. It was pretty simple to install. I can't say how well it cools yet, but the heat is working perfectly. I have it set at 65 degrees, but it can be set as low as 62 degrees. It is really quiet, too.

Now that’s a super Garage/Shop. Love the overhang… super nice looking as well.
I have 8000lb lift - 4 Post… it’s perfect. Got it from BEST AUTOMOTIVE 877-658-4165…in 2017 it was $2144 - Installer and delivery was $950… just an FYI…BEST AUTOMOTIVE handled everything… great outfit
