Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone had a great day.
It looks like maybe the mid 50's Saturday, anyone one to meet for lunch and a short drive? Last of the year?

Out

I'm out. In Cleveland.

4" white stuff :)

Merry Christmas guys

Rich, I may be able to join you guys for lunch and short run on Saturday. Please post when you have a time/place set up. I will confirm by Friday night. :rolleyes:Thanks, Mike

Thanks and Merry Christmas to you too. Will be in Arkansas cancelling a few Duck fights :-)

Mike, Kieth, must be getting old an forgetful, I have to work Saturday. First time in 4 yrs, guess thats why I forgot, Ya that it, THATS the reason. :)

I'm out too. Engine leaks too much to drive. I'll probably by putting on jack stands for a while until I can change the oil pan gasket and rear main seal. Hope you guys have fun. Looks to be a great day.

Wow Mark oil leaks already? Isn't that a brand new engine? I am guessing your engine builder will want to fix those on the down low to avoid the embarrassment. Free of charge of course. :(

I am out as I have a house full of family from out of town.

Guess again youngling...guess again.
I have hunch about poor pcv/venting that I may try first, before I drop the pan.
I'm thinking with the new intake, cam, crank, etc that the old pcv and vent are wrong.
I'm looking at at hi perf pcv and new vent.
We'll try that first.
I've been reading about leaks etc, and read about inadequate pcv valves.
This site was very interesting. www.mewagner.com
Kinda pricey, but may solve my exact problem without dropping the pan and main cap.
Kind of explains some of the problems I've had in the past too.

Pretty much on my own here, so we'll see.
Sorry for the thread hijack.
M
