Local Farmington painter sets new World Record today

A local racer....Joe Holt, a painter at Keven Ball Autobody in Farmington set a new World Record with his Coyote-powered 2015 3900lb street legal Automatic TT Mustang today at Gateway.
8.53 sec @164 MPH....!
Almost .2 sec quicker and 4 mph faster than the previous record.
This is a fully equipped, street driven Mustang with 6R80 6-spd automatic, full interior and all amenities.

Not only is the 60 ft time and 1/4 mile et / mph impressive...
...but note how straight he launches with NO correction needed in the steering for the full length of the pass.
No tendency to swap ends...no fighting the car to stay on the track.
Just smooth...and straight as an arrow.

This is a true street car that ran only 0.14 sec slower et and 2 mph faster than my Funnybike ran...
...all @ 3900 lbs....!!

He is running over 130 mph from a dead stop in 660 ft....!

Impressive is an understatement.
I was stunned.
