Lease/buy a garage

Sooo, I got this e-mail for a place that will be opening in Chesterfield that offers garage/office space for collections. Kind of like the garage condo concept. The website is http://www.theplaceinchesterfield.com (original ) I was looking through the gallery which is supposed to be representative of similar offerings. Check out this link - http://www.theplaceinchesterfield.com/gallery/ - look at the pic in the next to last row, far right....If I'm not mistaken, isn't that Omer's shop with Gary O behind Dave W's car? Kind of makes you wonder about the legitimacy of the business, don't it?

That being said, Chuck G and I checked in to this some time ago at a place in St Charles. It would be a good idea for a group of people. I know we all have our own garages, but what about a shared man cave? 10 people, 10 cars, $18,000 each and we are in

So the place in St. Charles, is that the purchase price, and that include lifts and things?

For the prices they are asking...you could buy an older service station with multiple bays....
or a small commercial building in an outlying small town.

The 4500 sq ft building I had my shop in was on Manchester road across from Feld Chevrolet and sold for $157K in 2003. And it had two hydraulic lifts, security system, three phase power for the machine shop, 2nd level storage, office, and a spray booth. You could park 20 cars inside.

There are ex commercial buildings that can be bought for far less than they want for a mancave.
