• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Just saying hello

Welcome

Welcome Mike. Thanks for registering!
You are invited to our first actual meeting - April 10th at Fox and Hounds in CFD - 6pm. Hope you can make it. We need a lot of support as we build this club from the ground up. BTW - your just a country mile from me - we'll have to get together on the next sunny day - if it will ever stop raining.

Welcome Mike,

I met you last year at the Grand Prix speedway car show. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me and my son. Hope to see you on the 10th.

I talked to a lot of people that day and all names and faces have become a blur. Looking forward to meeting you again and putting a face to the name.

Will continue this thread with my 'hello' to the forum. Was at the KSHE show today and met Dave and Chuck there. And some other gray haired guy, oh yeah, Tom (hehe) was there showing off a bright red Cobra. Dave was showing his Silver and Black Cobra, stood there talking so long, I have a nice 'redneck' now. I bought my car in 2006 from Fast Lane Cars. It was built in '04/'05 by someone in Kirksville, MO (Mike D keeps giving me the guys name, but I keep losing it). My car is a Factory Five MKII almost MKIII (some of the design changes on the MKIII are present on my car). Has a stock (as far as I can tell) 460 with a Barry Grant Demon 750CFM carb. I have been tinkering improving and adding stuff since I've had it. I've been married for 21 years, have two boys ages 16 and 19(well, almost). I am a Sr. Construction Engr. for a wireless company in town and have been there for 18 years. My hobbies are the Cobra(of course), woodworking, hunting, and thumping on a guitar from time to time. Hope to meet more of you soon, as I like to drive my car, not park it. I've put on 4,000 miles in the two years I've had it, and it has been a blast. Ok, probably more than a hello here....:)

I will keep this one going. I have an FFR. I have met a handful of people on this site(Dean, Tom, Mike D). I am looking forward to meeting more of you. I was at Run n Gun two years ago, but I had to miss it last year. I was opening a new business. I have recently moved from Winghaven in O'fallon to the Lake of the Ozarks. I will be back at Run n Gun in the fall and will try to make as many events as I can from here. I have a wife and two boys (2 and 6). Mine is blue with white stripes. It has a stock 302 right now, but I am getting ready to tear into it. I am going with GT 40 heads couple other goodies and a Mass Flo intake.

We have a number of good roads down here that seem to go on for days.

Mike-

What part of Ballwin? I just posted myself about being a new member. I also live in Ballwin - small world. Surprised I haven't seen you tearing up the streets around my neighborhood.

I'm in Oakwood Farms subdivision off Reinke Rd. back behind Royal Gate Dodge. Tom Keiser is only a mile (as the crow flies) from me. Stop by sometime, 394-5156.
