I have been using automotive work gloves for 40+ years and have never found a glove that has worked as well as I would like.
With many nitrile gloves...like the long dish washing gloves...your hands sweat from lack of air circulation.
The thinner nitrile "surgeons' gloves are not durable enough and start self destructing within hours.
With many heavier rubber coated gloves you loose all tactile sensitivity for doing small tasks needing dexterity and the ability to "feel" the hardware you are working with.
Many heavier gloves are too restrictive not allowing full movement of your wrist or fingers.
Many are not durable or washable... providing one time use only.
Many do not have sufficient grip to grasp oily parts.
For a long time I used cheep brown jersey gloves but they would too often be oversized and loose fitting, of poor quality and have insufficient grip to hold smooth tool handles.
I have tried the work gloves from Harbor Freight which work OK.... but was still not impressed.
Even the more expensive but popular $20 / pair Mechanics Brand engine builder gloves are no better.
Finally...I found a glove that works exceptionally well...is as cheep as the brown jersey gloves and are nearly perfect for my needs.
They are the Ironton Brand work gloves from Northern Tool. They are nitrile coated on the face but made of a "one size fits all" knitted stretch material that conforms to your hand and fingers.
The nitrile coating is surprisingly durable, considering how thin it is... allowing multiple washing's of the gloves... yet they still provide exceptional tactile feel.
The stretch material allows your hands to breathe and are very comfortable.
They are sized a little tight but they fit my large hands fine. I prefer a tight fitting glove particularly when working in a confined space where loose gloves are always getting hung up.
What is even better...they are less than $0.84 a pair...when on sale...!!
They are on sale right now...@ 50% off. (12) pairs of gloves for $9.99...!

I use these at the farm every day.
For those of you looking for an excellent work glove...I HIGHLY recommend these while they are on sale.
I bought enough to last the rest of my life and didn't spend any more than the cost of five pairs of Mechanics Brand gloves.
Check them out...I think you will be impressed as I was.
