How to add item to the Calendar

The new forum has a different way of posting items on the calendar, it links posts to dates on the calendar. To add something:

  1. Create a new post to describe your event - when doing so, pay attention to the subject line, this is what will display on the calendar. Add your details, links, pictures, whatever to your post and save it.
  2. When the saved view opens, click on the ellipsis in the upper right corner and select the appropriate 'add to calendar' (could be one time, could be re-occuring)
  3. Follow the questions posed by the software and save.
The subject line now appears on the appropriate date, will appear in the upcoming events listing and clicking on the event links you back to the thread.
