I have been making wine since I was just out of high school, but have never been a wine drinker. A couple of years ago I got into brewing beer. I always enjoy drinking a cold one. I know Tim has made home made beer. Anyone else on the forum ever give this a try.

This past weekend, I finally got the beer keg and picnic tapper out of the basement fridge and put them in the mechanical room, added two taps to dispense beer on the bar in the basement. I'll post pictures soon.

Just wondered if there were any other brewers out there lurking, I'm always willing to learn, and hope to try whole grains instead of partial extracts soon.

Thanks,

I need to learn how to keg beer. It sounds relatively simple once you have all the equipment. I have a copper ale that I will probably brew this week. Do you have a Granite City brewery near you? Found that you buy a growler of beer for $20, then every Tuesday/Thursday you can get it re-filled for $6! I have some growlers and maybe I'll send one home with you to try some of your home brew some time.

GC Brewery is a resturant. I don't think we have any on this side of the river, well, not this far south.
