Sure. Today Mark and I were suprised to learn that the RNG Experience was today AND tomorrow. The day was great, had many club members there to relieve the booth and Brandaon (Carpe Kid) was on track today with a 1:27 time! We sold a lot of water and soda's, but have yet to sell our first LARGE photo. Many of the manufacturer's said they will buy, we just need to show them some 'money' shots of their cars. Got a lot of good feedback from Herschel B tonight that will expand our options of pictures to buy tomorrow. We are going to offer a poster print for $XX amount (TBD by Mark after talking to the printer). And we will add a graphic tomorrow to the 8x10's. We really hope tomorrow will be the money day as many of the manufacturer's (we think) will be leaving and some of the driver's. The competition on the track was settled down today, the warnings sent yesterday did the job.

Club attendance was great today, we were going to get a pic, but didn't. I will do a better job with photo's tomorrow. In attendance today were Tom, Bruce & Debbie, Carl, Randy, Brandon, Kerry & Kathy, (new Member) Bill, Mike W., Dan T, Gary O, Myself and Mark. Anyone wanting to come by tomorrow, please do, if not, make sure you are there Saturday for our club sponsered car show.

Here is a low res video captured on my phone today of the Run N Gun experience.

Look closely and you will see Tim and Mark driving!

Well, the road course activities wrapped up today. A couple of cars bit the dust today including damage to one of our own - Dean. I didn't see the accident, will let Dean or someone else speak to that. Damaged the rear clip though. Another one bit the dust comin' out of turn 4, I think there are pictures of this on, Mark may be able to post those. I have had a blast this week speaking to many of the competitor's, learning more about what happens to a 302 when you over rev the engine and spin it backwards - it seems valves, pushrods and rocker arms don't like that (Tony - this is what was wrong with the White GT40). Deano won a couple of first place awards. Our 50/50 drawing was a semi success. The winner donated the money to this year's RNG charity (http://www.operationcomfort.org/index.html). About $10k was raised for this tonight. I was given the opportunity to speak in front of everyone at the RNG Banquet and thanked everyone for supporting us and allowing us to be a part of their activities. I gave a free plug to Dave Williams with Fast Lane Cars. As I passed him, he offered his place for meetings should we want to do that. I inquired about using some indoor space there and he said "sure" just let him know. Umm, we'll see. I've spoken in front of some groups of people before, but never 200 or so. Anyway, here's hoping we have at least 3 entries tomorrow. :o

Missed you guys

In the Denver Airport, waiting for departure. Had a great time. Will post pics later. Wish I'd been there for more RNG.
