• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Greetings!

Scott,

Count me in on the arrival party. If it comes in during the week and you need a spare couple of hands, my office is right in the area and I can swing on by.

Awesome! Thanks Chuck for the offer.

Dave - the ribs were good, still likin the sauce off my fingers. If you want I can bring you back some dirty napkins so you can get a sense of the BBQ! How's that for a tease...

I'm hurtin' this morning, it's been a while since I was out late drinking with clients on a Thursday night.

STL-Scott.

Any time you need help let me know. I had the harness dieted, but it left alot to be desired. It is running good now. Hard to believe how many wires are left to make this thing run correctly. If you get the J-pipes for a 4.6, they have both o2 bungs in there. The problem arises because there is no CAT, they both get the same reading throwing codes.

I flashed out my rears, and plugged the rear hole.

Your an Architect also, small world.

Dave - would have brought you back some ribs, but I had no way to keep them cold in my rental car. Sorry dude!

Pulled porke is that related to Porky Pig?

Craig,

Which firm do you work for? I know that Korte Co. has an office in Highland. They offered me a job when I moved here in 05 but when we were looking for houses in Westco they mentioned I maybe in the Highland, IL office I said no thanks.

I work for TR,i Architects - in Clayton. My wife is also an Architect - works for Hastings & Chivetta - also in Clayton. Yes small world.

Where did you go to school? I have my degree from K-State, wife's is from UBC (univ. of British Columbia) yep she is a former canuk.

Scott

Scott,

I work for Hurford Architects out of Edwardsville. I know alot of the Korte guys, and we have quite a few ex-Korte's here.

I kind of went the alternate route on licensing. 2 year degree, then work, night classes at Wash. U. and then passed my test on time rather than degree. Right now I am taking a class on LEED at SIUE at night, and hope to test for my LEED AP by the end of May (This class has taught me just how much B.S. it really is)

We have (3) K-staters in the office, what years where you there?

I used to work with Rick Kiesker for years, I believe he works there with you. Tell him I said hello if run into him.

Cool Craig,

My wife is working on a Science Building renovation project at SIUE with HCA. Yep - Rick sits 3 cubicles down from me. Will pass along your greeting. We have quite a few guys here at TR,i doing the approach you took. It probably took me about the same length of time - 5 years at K-State (90-95), I worked for 7 years before I tested for all of my sections, and have had my license since 2002. I now also have a NCARB cert. so I can be registered anywhere in the US of A. Currently just carry CO and MO licenses. Have not had to stamp drawings since 03 when my wife and I had our own firm - which in the end was a big mistake...unless you can sleep good at night with risk of having a claim against you...stay with a bigger firm - IMOH.

I did enough research on the ISGBC and LEED last year to advise my clients on how to become more "green" with their retail projects. We implemented about 5-6 ideas. No interest with them in certifying a project - too expensive and they wouldn't get the benefits (tenants pay for the utilities anyway).

Take care,
Scotty
