GCC Year in Review

Thanks for the memories guys.
The year in review for me has been in a word a "blast." It began for me when I bought my beast off ebay, sight unseen, in Nov. 08 just before Turkey day. I drove it home from Paris, Ky in 40 degree w/x. I heard about GCC through the STL Kit Car Club. I remember attending our 1st club meeting @ the Fox & Hound in Chesterpatch & meeting Mark, Chuck, Paul, SteveF, ClydeJ, TomJ, TomK, MikeD & others. The highlight of the KShe car show was spending the day with TomK & AndyK & meeting TimM & RandyH. THE London Cobra Show was an absolute blast. I will never forget all of the condolences & kindness shown by the club members when my father passed away. Thanks in particular to TomK & LindaK. I love you both deeply. My favorite cruises this year have been the river road cruises with the BigO & others, The K&K Farmington sojourn, the Potosi Run with Mark, Tim & BigO & the fabulous FCR lead by the incomparable KeithM/Naja. I remember fondly Scotty's birthing party. It was thrill to meet Scotty & his family & to take Scotty & Liam for a ride in my beast. Another special memorable moment was visiting TomJ in the hospital after his accident. The B/D party @ my house & Sh-Boom Concert @ C-A-B later that eve. was also special because of all of you & my son made it so. And to think this is only the beginning! Thanks for all of the memories GCC.

For me, obviously not involved as much as I would ike, but there still has been a couple events that stand out in my mind. Obviously the lake visit. I enjoyed the visit by everyone and hope to do a larger event in the spring. The best for me though was having a group to sit and talk to at RnG. Not one specific item, but having a group of friends at that track was fantastic!

For me, having the forum is just as much fun. Here is looking forward to a great 09 and getting to know everyone better!
