About a month or so ago, I talked at one of our meetings about a project car that Gateway Classic Mustang is doing. It is an all volunteer project that will be auctioned off for charity.
It will be a David Pearson stock car replica, a Mercury Montego.
They need our help...I know this is short notice, but here is the e-mail I recieved from Jason today.

We would like to have a meeting about the Darrell Gwynn Project car. If anyone would like to help with this the meeting is on Friday 27, 2010 at 7pm. The meeting will be at Gateway Classic Mustang’s shop the address is 10461 North Service Rd Bourbon, MO. The build will be on Hot Rod TV and the car will be taken to Barrett Jackson in January to be sold for Darrell Gwynn foundation. We are looking for people that can do metal work, body work, and general mechanical work or anyone that just would like to help. If you have any question about this feel free to call or email me.

I was passing their shop last Saturday morning and the car was being unloaded. It is already stripped and was coming back from the blaster. Looks like a lot of work needs to be done to get it assembled. There should be work for everyone.
I will be at the meeting.. If anyone else would like to join in with the project, please feel free to join in. It would be great coverage for our club.
The weather will be great for a Friday night drive, so take a trip to Burbon MO, and get involved.
