I've been using Tire Rack for years, but--last fall--discovered tirebuyer.com According to them, these guys are bigger than Tire Rack but have mostly done wholesale. But, over the past few years, they've begun to do retail. The big deal is that they offer free shipping on tires. The reason is that they have warehouses in almost every major city, so they just deliver to your local installer (just as many as Tire Rack). I got my Cobra B.F. Goodrich tires last fall for $100 less than Tire Rack wanted--mostly because of the free shipping which saved $70. And Tire Rack didn't even have the 295 rears in stock.

Now, I'm about to order some Michelin Pilot Super Sports, for my new Sky, and--again--with free shipping and a $20 coupon for letting them email me stuff, it will be another $100 cheaper than Tire Rack. Anyway, tirebuyer.com is highly recommended.
