Evans Coolant

I know Gary Owens uses it, and it's $$$$$$$$$$. Unless you are tracking your car, I'm not sure there are any reasons to use it?

I was considering it for my build, but research shows probably not. Has some good features, but they don't tell you the heads tend to run 100-150 degrees hotter than water cooled, which reduces octane values, reduces HP by about 5% and tends to increase engine operating temperatures. Plus at about $50 a gallon, a typical motor needs four gallons = $200

Maybe good for the track and solves the overheat issues associated with water, but I'm going to pass

Good idea Paul. I know Gary has a heating issue with his car and it's what he uses. With your aluminum block, I would only use Dex-cool, or the Ford brand of the same, it's the pink coolant. It was designed for aluminum blocks and protects it better than the blue stuff, and it'll cost less than $30.
