Driving classes

Does anyone know of a defensive / performance driving class / school in the general area, kind of like the one Texas Speedway has for teen drivers?

The everyday run-of-the mill drivers ed schools is not what we're looking for

The BMW club just had one at the Family Arena. This if from their website:

not sure how much performance driving there is.

While I have no direct knowledge on these schools, I've heard nothing but good things and that every new driver should participate.

Tire rack has these all over the country. They use many of our SCCA racers as instructors. They do push you to find the limit and beyond in wet and dry. A friend just had his teenage son go through one and was very pleased. The next one is on 10/4/2014 at family arena.
