Was surprised (amazed really) that all trucks except the last one, the SUV and both motorcycles pulled off the road to yield right of way...
I've ridden the Dragon on my motorcycle with a group and we found a lot of road in and around the Dragon that was a lot more fun to ride. Better pavement, bigger sweeping turns and a lot of great scenery. The Dragon is novel and you have to do it at least once but it is so tight and crowded that you will never have to worry about exceeding the 35 speed limit. Having said that, I would definitely go back to the area and yes, run the dragon, but then spend most of my time on the surrounding roads: Moonshiners 28, the Cherohala Skyway, and the Cheoah River Run to name a few.
Be careful out there...............
