Dave Mungenast Museum tour

Here are pics of what the parking in front of the Dave Mungenast Museum looks like. With the bike lane between the parked cars and traffic, I'm not really concerned with parking on the street. Especially since you can see them from within the museum.

We'll talk more about this event at next week's meeting but take a look at the article in the link above if you haven't already? It gives a good recap of what you'll see there!

Mike, Did you want to meet somewhere, then drive in together?
I would suggest in front of Stein Mart off of 270 and Watson (10990 Sunset Hills Plz, Sunset Hills, MO 63127), then drive in Watson Rd. I can lead if you like.
What time did you want to arrive / start the tour?
Ted Drewes afterwards? (Saturday looks toasty)

Mark, I will cover this in more detail at tomorrow's meeting but below was my plan? Any YES, I would appreciate it if you could lead? I'm not that familiar with South STL and was planning on asking you tomorrow night if you wouldn't mind leading?:)

For anyone interested in attending, we can meet for breakfast at 9:00am (?) at the IHOP in Sunset Hills. Address is 10893 Sunset Hills Plaza, STL 63127. That should put us at the Museum around 10:15. There's enough to see that you'll want up to 2 hours to tour everything. After the museum, a short cruise to Ted Drewes would be nice! For those that appreciate vintage motorcycles, I really think you'll find this Museum one of STL's best kept secrets!!

Hello Mike: see you tomorrow, and sadly shall MISS the Museum tour - out of town / vacation begins Friday....so I’ll be out.

The link you provided was excellent, feel like I’ve already been there....nicely done...

We will be in NY for a wedding that weekend so can't attend the museum tour...but hate to miss it.

For lunch, I would STRONGLY suggest Adam's Smokehouse on Watson Rd....before heading to Ted Drews.
Excellent food and a lot of STL sports memorabilia.
The place is named after Adam Wainright and has received great reviews.
Parking is on the street in front and in the rear.

Will not make the meeting tonight as I will be killing hogs at the farm today.

Mike, I will probably not make tonight’s meeting but I will make the museum tour. I’ll see you at IHOP at 9. Please post any changes to the plan that may result from tonight’s meeting. Thanks, Kent

Kent, no changes to Saturday's plan. We'll meet meet for breakfast at 9:00am at the IHOP in Sunset Hills. Address is 10893 Sunset Hills Plaza, STL 63127. I think Kent may be bringing a friend?

Rich, I'll pick you up about 8:00 if you'd like to join us?

Keith,Tony,Taylor? Anyone else? If you like classic motorcycles and have not been you'll be impressed! :)

I'm picking Rich up around 8:00 so we should be at IHOP early enough to have a table for the group by 9:00?

Wives are invited, just not sure if any others are coming. I give Theresa credit!
@ +90*, Ann asked if I was nuts for inviting her!
(you might want to bring a couple towels to throw over the seats, black vinyl/leather gets hot, but nothing compared to the steering wheel and seat buckles!)

Thanks Mike, for setting up a great day of Snake & Eegs breakfast @ Ihop, the Mugenast Museum, and finishing at Ted Drewes!
