Cruise to the Lake

I may be able to go to the Lake with you guys if I can complete the spring work on my car. I changed the oil, and that ended up taking about 4 hours and two rolls of paper towels. The car was put away dirty last year and did not clean itself over the winter. What were the plans for meeting and driving down on the 2nd? Were we going to stay down there and come back on the 3rd? Thanks! Karl
 
Plan is to meet at the QT in Wentzville off I-70 at 7:30am on Saturday 5/2 (me and Dan anyway) then travel down to meet Brandon for Breakfast at 10am on the lake, stay all night, then back home Sunday after Breakfast.
 
Tom and Linda may travel with us too. Shelley says she's going, but reserves the right to back out if bad weather is showing.

Charlie is an artist with all his builds and his wife she is a doll too!
that car could be drivin up behind ya on the way down just look for a duckbill comin at ya and beware it is all corvette underneath with a BBchebby:D
 
If he wants to cruise with us down, let him know where and when we are meeting Leo.

BTW - I will be traveling solo with an empty seat if anyone wants to go, more than welcome.

Man Oh Man Tim your tempting me. :eek: Man I would love to go. Maybe my foot will heal enough by next weekend so I could be your co-pilot. :) Don't count me out just yet. :p
 
Dave, do you have one of those boot casts on? I've seen people with more serious injuries walk around with those.
 
Yep got one & it's actually quite comfortable. I would probably mostly hangout in a comfy folding chair & get up occassionally to look at some cars. If it could work out, I could drive to your house in my van at a predetermined time & ride with you from there & you, me & Mark could stay in the room I have booked. No foot races for the privilege to sleep in one bed by yourself. :D :eek: Of course you & Mark are best buddies & I would'nt impose on your privilege/right to sleep together! :eek::D

Dave u are beyond the ice on the foot i guess u are in the heat stage so the pass. footbox will in turn be ur best re-hab. find a chair with a cooler near by arms reach and u can be the beer B$$ch, and thats a bad thought 2 men spoonin in one bed i'd sleep on the floor. on my back and one eye open.........all night

reminds of a joke this guy goes to the doc and says i got a date wit 2 women i need somethin to keep me goin and the doc gives him somethin well he goes back to the doc 2 days later and and says doc i need somethin for this doc goes OMG it looks like hamburger the guys says i need some ben gay and the doc says that will burn terrribly and the guy says no not there its for my right arm them gals never did show up:D
